You're not a trained person to be respected and considered, you are merely a tool to provide a service. I think they view their employees, not as people, but as tools. The Sr director also has an appauling memory and will request you to for-fill a task, and then forget he asked you to do it and come back and tell you to change it in an extremely aggressive and offhand manner. There are two directors with differing opinions, so problems started arrising when I would complete a task and the senior director would sign it off, and then the Jr director would tell me to ignore the senior director, which was confusing and stressful. However, there were really tricky things to deal with, such as the directors. In terms of the marketing there were so many parts of the businesses that were neglected that I was really happy to put my energy behind fixing certain elements, it was like doing a puzzle. I have to say, there were parts of this job I loved. I should have known from the beginning to not deal with them as they were shockingly rude, giving me one start date, changing their mind and messing me around for over 6 weeks, but hey ho, you live and learn.

So, the two directors of Caffe Concerto approached me through a connection and asked if I would like to deal with their marketing full time, which meant me giving up my small business. Nothing fancy but I've always ran my own businesses and known the energy and passion you have to throw behind a business. Disrespectful, stressful and humiliating Before I began working here, I was running a small marketing agency with a couple of subcontractors and my own small office etc.
